SLASH W/MYLES KENNEDY & THE CONSPIRATORS COVERAGE PHOENIX AZ
Slash w/ Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators performed On Tuesday, February 15th, 2022 at The Arizona Federal Theatre. I was fortunate enough to be at this event and see Slash play, this was my first time seeing the band. Before this night, I had never seen either Slash or Myles Kennedy’s other band, Alter Bridge. Slash was touring in support of their newest album release entitled “4”, which was released on February 11th, 2022.
Slash was previously featured on The Jimmy Kimmel Show the night of February 2nd, 2022 to talk about the upcoming album’s release and to perform the song “The River Is Rising”, also taken from the album.
This night Slash performed a few songs from the latest album like “Call Off The Dogs”, Fill My World”, and “The River Is Rising”. The band also played songs from their other albums like “Serve You Right”, “Shots Fired”, “World On Fire” and the band played covers of Elton John’s Rocket Man and Lenny Kravitz’s Always On The Run.
Overall the band played an amazing show that combined the sound of Alter Bridge and Guns N Roses. There were a lot of times that I thought GNR was playing and others where Alter Bridge was playing. It was nice to see fans from GNR and Alter Bridge as well as kids with their parents attend this show. Good to see that the young generation likes this type of music. Looks like Rock N’ Roll is alive and well.
I can’t wait to see Slash perform again, until that time I wish the band the best in their upcoming tours.
