POP EVIL “THE VERSATILE TOUR 2021” COVERAGE

I believe this tour with Pop Evil was postponed once from last year because of the pandemic, and finally it happened. I was really looking forward to seeing Pop Evil because I had heard from other people that they put on amazing shows. I did not know the two opening bands, BRKN LOVE and ZERO 9:36, by the time the first band was up there were a lot of people already at the venue.
BRKN LOVE was up first, a Canadian rock band, and like I said before I had not heard their music before. Justin, the vocalist/guitarist, really hyped up the crowd and the fans reacted very well. Their modern rock was really connecting with the crowd, and they made a new fan out of me. I hope to see them live again sometime soon because they really kicked some butt.
ZERO 9:36, a band/rapper/singer from Philadelphia, were up next. Their sound was more of a rap-style sound, really reminiscent of some nu-metal bands from the early 2000s. The singer/rapper Matt Cullen was extremely energetic and pumped up the crowd, along with his guitarist/keyboard player. I would not mind seeing them again, hopefully next time in a festival/outdoor setting. Would love to see them on Saturday the 11th at The Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival in Mansfield, Ohio.
Pop Evil, a rock band from Michigan, were the last to go. I was extremely excited to see them because I had heard from a lot of people that they put on a really good show. Let me tell you those people did not lie because the singer, Leigh, really got the crowd going as soon as he stepped onto the stage. I am glad their set had older and new songs because it really appealed to the entire audience. I am glad they played “Breathe Again” and their new single “Survivor”, which really rocked the house. I hope I can catch these guys sometime soon, they will also be performing on Saturday the 11th at The Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival in Mansfield, Ohio.
