BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE NORTH AMERICA 2023
On November 1st, 2023, Welsh heavy metallers Bullet For My Valentine made their triumphant return to Phoenix, Arizona. The band played at The Van Buren to a sold-out crowd that could not wait to see them.
The band opened their show with Knives, a fast, heavy track from their latest self-titled release. The audience went wild and started singing along as soon as the song started. I never knew the age group that would come to these events, but it was nice to see young children with their parents attend the concert and enjoy the music.
When the band started playing the song All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me), they allowed the crowd to sing, which was louder than the band’s instruments. That was my favorite moment of the show; to see the fanbase sing louder than the band itself was amazing. Some other notable tracks played that night were 4 Words (To Choke Upon), The Last Fight, Scream Aim Fire, Tears Don’t Fall, Suffocating Under Words of Sorrow, and Waking The Demon.
The band had an amazing concert, and I recommend seeing them if you ever get the chance. I wish them the best in their future endeavors.
