JIMMY EAT WORLD + THE MAINE MEDIA PRESS CONFERENCE DAY
On August 23, 2022, Jimmy Eat World and The Maine had a press conference to discuss their upcoming show in Phoenix, Arizona. Sydney Sprague hosted the event, and also is performing at the concert, alongside all of them, Pvris is also playing.
One cool fact I did not know about all three performing artists is that all of them are Arizona natives. I might have heard something about that being said, but I never looked it up. Both bands talk about their beginnings of how they all came together.
Rick Burch, bass player for the band, did mention that one of his all-time favorite concerts that changed his life was seeing Roy Orbison. It was super cool to see that both bands help each other and reach out to come together for a show in their hometown. That story really stood out for me because I can relate to when I saw a band in concert and it changed my love for music.
The Maine’s band members also shared personal stories about how they became a band, and some of their first-ever shows in Arizona venues that are no longer around.
Both bands said that they are eager that come back to Phoenix, Arizona and perform in their hometown. Fans should expect an amazing show from all the bands playing that night. I can’t wait to see this amazing show take place on October 28, 2022, at the Arizona Financial Theatre. Please grab your tickets because this will be an event not to be missed.
