THE POISONED ASCENDANCY TOUR 2025
On April 12th, 2025, The Poisoned Ascendancy Tour, a celebration of Bullet For My Valentine’s The Poison and Trivium’s Ascendancy albums turning twenty years old, took place at the Arizona Financial Theater to a sold-out crowd..
That night, both bands performed those amazing albums that I remember hearing back in 2005, and it brought back so many good memories.
They brought some friends alongside them to have a much bigger party in August Burns Red and Sylosis.
Sylosis opened the show with a thunderous set that got the crowd ready for what was to come that night
August Burns Red were the second band to play, and they gave everything they had on stage. Vocalist Jake Luhrs kept that crowd roaring for more, and the crowd gave it all back.
It was time for Bullet For My Valentine to take the stage. As the intro song played and the song Her Voice Resides started playing, the crowd erupted. As the band kept playing song after song, the sold-out crowd sang loudly as if their life depended on it. When the band played songs like Tears Don’t Fall and All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me), the crowd was louder than the band.
The band ended with their song “Waking The Demon” and everyone was ecstatic for what was still to come.
Trivium finally took the stage and the crowd got even crazier than they were before. After the intro played and they started playing Rain and then Pull Harder On The Strings Of Your Martyr, everyone started crowd surfing. That whole album performed live in its entirety was pure magic, and I never thought I would see that happen. Everyone in that venue came together to witness one of the best shows you could see this year.
Even if you missed seeing Trivium or Bullet For My Valentine this time around, please go see them if you have the chance because both bands put on amazing shows.
I wish all bands that played the best in their future endeavors.
SEE YOU AGAIN IN TEN YEARS FOR A 30TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR!!
