WELCOME TO ROCKVILLE FESTIVAL!

At the time of this writing the “Welcome To Rockville Festival” is two months away, and with about 70 bands over four days we are sure to expect some amazing performances
The first day which will be Thursday, November 11th 2021 will kick-off with CONTRACULT COLLECTIVE, and hopefully they will bring it and get the crowd fired up for what’s to come for the rest of the day. Some of the other bands that will be performing are BRASS AGAINST, SPIRITBOX, GOJIRA, which I have seen before and they put on an amazing show and would recommend people to not miss them.
STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, CYPRESS HILL, which I just saw about a month or so ago and had the pleasure to photograph and they were really good.
To close the night off you have A DAY TO REMEMBER, and the mighty SLIPKNOT, which always puts on one of the best performances you will ever see. I personally have seen them about six times and they always play better and better. I can guarantee that they will bring it.
The second day on Friday, November 12th 2021 is sure to take it to another level because the bands playing are going to step it up another notch. I have not heard some of the bands playing early in the day with the exception of ZERO 9:36, which I got to see earlier in the year and it was a really good performance. I am sure the other opening bands will put on really good performances as well which I would love to see. This day would see the mighty METALLICA play the first of two nights they are going to be playing at the festival, and I am sure they are going to close the night like true legends that they are. But before they play we will have the pleasure of seeing bands like ICE NINE KILLS, BEARTOOTH, CHEVELLE, PENNYWISE, SOCIAL DISTORTION and we cannot forget about the master of horror himself ROB ZOMBIE, which I have seen before a few times and his performances do not disappoint.
The third day is happening on Saturday, November 13th 2021, and to kick-off the day will be BRKN LOVE, which I saw earlier in the year and they will bring it and start the day off right. Other bands playing this day will be FAME ON FIRE, JOYOUS WOLF, 3TEETH, SICK PUPPIES, CROWN THE EMPIRE. Just like the day before we have an amazing band closing the night which is DISTURBED, a band that every time they perform live give it their all and I am sure this night will be no different.
But before we close the night we have a few other bands like GWAR, THE OFFSPRING, STAIND, and of course another band that will bring it will be LAMB OF GOD.
The last day of the festival on Sunday, November 14th 2021 is sure to close with flying colors. Some of the openers we have playing are HERO THE BAND, ALIEN WEAPONRY, THE WARNING, JELLY ROLL, CODE ORANGE and a few others.
This would be the second night that METALLICA will close and I am sure they will take it to another level. But before we have the closers we do have a few other headliners.
The likes of ANTHRAX, MASTODON, LYNYRD SKYNYRD and of course we have the return of MUDVAYNE. After twelve years of them not playing live they have finally returned, which this date would be the fourth time this year they have taken the stage.
I am sure this festival will be a slobberknocker and all the attendees will be wanting to return to this festival in 2022. Until then stay safe and keep rockin’.
