THE SATANIC STATES OV AMERICA TOUR 2023
October 1st, 2023 was the last stop for THE SATANIC STATES OV AMERICA TOUR 2023 at The Van Buren in Phoenix, Arizona. I had seen Behemoth a few times before, and they always took their shows to the next level and this night they did not disappoint.
The mighty Behemoth opened their show with a really cool intro song where Nergal, the lead vocalist came out and had some type of flashlight. The band opened their set with a song called “Ora Pro Nubis Lucifer”, and as soon as the band started playing the entire crowd’s roar was heard throughout the entire venue.
I really enjoy watching bands that interact with the audience, and the entire band was moving around the entire stage and participating in the crowds’ chants. I really liked their stage setup with all the unique microphone stands they had.
The sound of the band sounded really good that night, as I thought I was listening to one of their records. The band played a lot of songs from most of their catalog, including “Conquer All”, “Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel”, “Daimonos” and “Ov Fire and The Void”. Throughout the entire night, you could see mosh pits and the audience singing loudly.
The band ended their set with their epic masterpiece “O FATHER O SATAN O SUN, and as soon as they ended playing everyone in the venue wanted more. I wish the band the best in their future endeavors and cannot wait to see them play again in Phoenix, Arizona.
